I have a big nose ipa clone.that should be 7.2% how long should I ferment
until it reaches final gravity, there is no set period of time since it depends on the quality of the wort, temperature even fermentor geometry when you get into the commercial realm.
Plan on a minimum of four weeks. That way, it should be done fermenting and the trub will be settled.
But, taking a gravity is the only absolutely certain method.
