Brewed my first saison,
80%pilsner weyermann
20% wheat same
Wyeast saison yeast not 3711 but the other one
Brewed in feb and then bulk aged this summer with jolly pumpkin dreggs

Tastes good but has a slick oily mouthfeel that coats my mouth.
This beer is 8 months old now.

It almost has a buttery taste too
Fermented mid 60s for 3 days
Then ramped the temp to 88-90 for about a month
Bulk aged 6 months at ambient Indiana temps in a well windowed room that had the ac vents shut so average was about 80 normally

Well I bottled the 750 corked belgian bottles a little over 2 weeks ago. Sainitised with starsan like normal.

It taste diacytl like but I'm wondering if its a "young" taste because of refermenting in the bottle. Or because of the star san. But there is no way its diacytl with these high fermentation temps. I'm really confused!!

Just when I thought id seen it all!
