My Friend and I are about 2 weeks into fermentation of an amber ale. When do you think we should put it into bottles for maximum taste?
Did you rerack to secondary?
When the SG is unchanging over several days, and the beer is clearing nicely. Once it's clear, that's a great time to bottle.
For my Haus Amber, I ferment for two weeks at about 62*F, cold crash for about four days, then keg.
That is fermenting with US-05 yeast.
thanks for the help im going home to start the bottling process.
