This taste is very different from what I perceive as extract twang. I only get it in light beers (lagers and 1 light ale) when kegging. However, I just carbonated some water with a 2 liter and carbonation cap, and this flavor is not perceptible, so I'm guessing the problem is either the beer itself or my keg sanitation practices.
