I had a mess recently with this batch of oatmeal stout and had to run a blow off tube from my fermenter.

Now that primary fermentation has settled down, shld I leave the tube on or put my sanatized airlock on it? I'm using a 6.5 gal glass carboy with universal bung.

Save yourself some work, and just leave it alone.

It doesn't really matter. A blow-off tube is nothing more than a giant airlock. At this point, I'd probably switch to the airlock, but you could even remove the bung and simply cover the opening of the carboy with some sanitized aluminum foil.
