Hi there

Looking to make a (very) small electric automated brewing system as a prototype for one I can only afford later on in life. I like gadgets, even if not strictly necessary.

As far as the build itself, it will be mostly computer controlled via LabView with some manual switches knobs and indicators. The PIDs I have connect to a computer, which can be read in and controlled from the program.

Most of my tubing at the moment is 1/2" threaded, but would like to use KF/ISO/ASA tubing for some parts (all sizes). Literally all sizes. If you have a section of ISO tubing that is 6" long and 10" wide, I'm interested. Same for conical sections.

I already have a large collection of misc components that will go into this, but need looooots more.

Whatcha got?

ps: grad students don't have much money, trades welcome.

search for Watlow temp probe on ebay - the thing is a beast

I think I'm going to buy my probes right from Omega. I have one RTD that I got from The Electric Brewery as a kit (Thanks Kal!). For fermentation, mainly I think I will use type T thermocouples for their accuracy and speed.

Anyone got any solenoid valves..?
