Default Sold - Wanted: Sanke Keg ---- Loc: Portland, OR

Hi all,

edit: done Looking for a final keg for conversion. Budget is $30.

straight walled
stainless steel
full size 1/2 barrel
unmodified

I'm in Portland, OR and my local search is stuck at 2 out of 3 kegs. Help!

Have you tried contacting Widmer? They sell off old "retired" kegs all the time. If you're lucky they'll have some available now, if not you'll be put on a waiting list.

THAnks for the tip Kilted. I've tried columbia distributing with no luck, but I will try Widmer next week.

Cherry City Metals had old kegs for $85 each last time I called them.

Forget Columbia...they will be of no help as they don't own the kegs, the breweries do. I got 4 from Widmer...First 2 with no wait, second two with a 6 month wait.

saber, thanks for the link. unfortunately $85 is about 3x what i'm looking to spend. i'm not that desperate....yet.
