I saw this ad on the Boston area Craigslist and thought some of you of who brew large batches might be interested in these.

I haven't bought anything from the guy yet, but I did send a few emails, and he was honest and great to deal with.

If the olives and peppers were packed in brine, or oil, and especially vinegar...then they are going to be next to worthless...just like pickle barrels.....

The price might be good, but depending how pungent and penetrative the brine was it may be impossible to get them not to stink up your beer.

we bought these a few years ago for weighing down rigging on a stage show (water weights). they were the big, thick blue ones, and I've been looking for them ever since, THANKS! I'm looking for one of their smaller sizes.
