I don't know if this strictly falls under the category of hoembrewing, but I always planned on putting beer in it, so maybe it will be allowed.

I have an old Pepsi Vending machine (cans). It vends no problem, but it doesn't get cold. An electirican friend traced the fault to the compressor. I intended on replacing the compressor and using it, but I'm realizing that it's simply not gonna happen in my possession.
