I have several brass fittings that have only been used for brewing. Specifically, there are most of the parts needed for the round igloo cooler mash-tun conversion:

Only item of note is that I couldn't get the nipple off the female barb, and scratched the nipple a bit with my pliers trying to do so. This shouldn't matter though, as this will be the part running through the cooler's wall and won't come into contact with liquids.
