http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...883871114.html

Hey there and thanks for looking at my post. I used to be a very active homebrewer, but after having a kid, divorce, move, etc, I don't have the time any longer. I have a TON of great equipment for sale that can either add to your list of equipment or can get you started on the right foot. My setup allowed me to win 5 ribbons for various beer styles as I used to compete, so what I have is all you need. I have provided links to many of the items to a store that sells them new, so you can compare. This is also where I bought my equipment. If you want specific pictures of things, let me know. If you are interested in everything I have, we can work a deal. Prices are listed for each item... will to discount on multiple items. Make me an offer.

2 6-Gallon Glass Carboys $25 each. Each has a thermometer attached and a removable handle for easy carrying http://morebeer.com/view_product/165...arboy_6_Gallon
3 5-Gallon Glass Carboys $25 each, $20 for the one without additions. 2 of them have a thermometer attached and a removable handle for easy carrying. http://morebeer.com/view_product/165...arboy_5_Gallon
1 3-Gallon Glass Carboy $15. http://morebeer.com/view_product/165...arboy_3_Gallon

Brew Stand $100 - built for three stage all grain brewing. Has three 150,000 BTU burners
Hot Liquor Tank $50 - Converted Stainless Steel Keg with installed bulkhead, Stainless Steel Valve, Sight Tube, and Thermometer (Thermometer needs to be replaced... cheap and easy)
Mash Tun $50 - Converted Stainless Steel Keg with installed bulkhead, Stainless Steel Valve, Sight Tube, Filtering Screen, and Thermometer (Thermometer needs to be replaced... cheap and easy). I might have the sprinkler for the sparge water... not 100% sure.
Boil Kettle $50 - Converted Stainless Steel Keg with installed bulkhead, Stainless Steel Valve, Sight Tube, and Thermometer (Thermometer needs to be replaced... cheap and easy)
High Temperature March Pump $75 - The pump head needs replacement which is a $39 part. http://morebeer.com/view_product/173...e_Brewing_Pump

Dang. SWMBO just sent the dreaded "spending money is out of control. We need to consult before buying anything" email yesterday. That, and I'm paying off my iPad.

Bottling the Belgian: A Photo Odyssey

Beer is the mind-killer. Beer is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my beer. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see it's path. When the beer has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Argh!, I'm so bummed, I wrote to this seller today, guess I was too late. I've been out of this for awhile, guess I'll just have to jump back into homebrewing in a different way-I've never used kegs (&that's mostly what I wanted to get-probably still will get some cornie kegs somewhere)-at least checking out the ad gave me a jump-start into thinking about brewing ...
