Product Information
I was cruising the internet one night after brewing try to find something to “aid” myself in the dreaded hassle of cleaning my gunked up carboy. I came across the Carboy Cleaner http://www.carboycleaner.com and was impressed by the videos and how easy it appeared. Skeptical at first I went to my local homebrew store and picked up the tool. Charged up my trusty cordless drill and put a bit of water and my favorite cleaning solution as per directions, after attaching to the drill and submerging in the carboy solution I was a believer in 20 seconds!! Not only did this work BETTER than advertised, but my carboys were cleaner than I was ever able to previously get them. Needless to say, I have the Carboy Cleaner and recently purchased the Keg Cleaner as well!! I highly recommend this product!!

Price: $32.50 Pros: Cleans carboys in minutes!
Uses power tools Cons: NONE!! Recommended? Yes
Comments: The price I listed is the current price on the Carboy Cleaner website. In reality I paid nothing as I won it in the vendor giveaway. A complete review with pics can be found in my brewing blog found at Mystic Brewing
In all I’m very impressed with the Carboy Cleaner™ as it performed as advertised and did much better than I had hoped for a carboy that was in horrible condition just 2 minutes before. On a normal carboy that only has fresh crud from fermentation in it this will clean it spotless in just a couple minutes of time. I’m so impressed that I will be getting the Keg Cleaner™ to help make sure my serving kegs are spotless as well. With that I would like to say THANKS!!! to the fine folks at Carboy Cleaner™. You have an incredible product and it truly transforms the task of cleaning a carboy from one that was dreaded to one that I look forward to doing as soon as the carboy is empty. I also want to thanks Homebrewtalk.com for allowing vendors to do these giveaways.

Price: $26.99 Pros: Very easy to clean glass carboys very quickly.
Removes hard krausen with little to no soaking Cons: Pads are a little difficult to get in 6.5 gal glass carboy
Neck is hard to clean on 6.5 gal carboy Recommended? Yes
Comments: Well worth the under $30 I spent. It is a little difficult to get to the top portion of a 6.5 gal carboy. The pads are also a little tight to get in the opening for a 6.5 gal carboy, but a little effort and they slide in. Overall the pros outweigh the cons by loads.

Price: $32.50 Pros: Easy to use! Simple and quick. Cons: None! Recommended? Yes
Comments: Makes cleaning a breeze. Done in minutes, no fuss no muss. They make one for cornie kegs also, I just ordered one. I could have just ordered the pads but it's easier to just use the other unit and it's not too much more. Wish they made one for bottles also. I guess I'll just have to wait for them to come out with one before I go back to bottling.

Price: $28.95 Pros: excellent addition to any home brew cleaning system Cons: none i can think of Recommended? No
Comments: This is an excellent addition to any home brew cleaning system even if you use PBW or other cleaners. Just no way to clean a carboy all the way without something like this.

Price: $38.95 Pros: Fast, better cleaning than I can do by hand, and way less work! Cons: None so far Recommended? Yes
Comments: Thanks for making cleaning faster! Everyone knows that the absolute worst part about brewing is the cleaning. I paid way too much for this at my LHBS, but I REALLY wanted it that weekend, so I guess it was worth it not to have to wait for shipping. Absolutely no buyer's remorse though, this product is first rate. I was able to clean 4 kegs, complete disassembly and reassembly, followed by sanitizing everything, in under 3 hours! This product made the inside of my kegs gleam. Thanks Keg Cleaner!

Price: $24.95 Pros: Fast, effective, and easy to use. Cons: None that I have found. Recommended? No
Comments: Long gone are the days of trying to maneuver an ineffective carboy brush or soaking my carboys to get rid of residue from fermenting. The Carboy Cleaner does the job in minutes and gets me back to enjoying the fruits of my home brewing labors.

Price: $25.00 Pros: Cuts cleaning time dramatically, Simple and easy to use, Does what it says, Well worth the price. Cons: None Recommended? Yes
Comments: Was searching for homebrew equipment online and came upon the carboy cleaner. I watched the video and was sold. I could not believe how easy cleaning a carboy could be. I thought the only way was with a brush and PBW. I was so impressed I let my father-in-law know about this great tool and he too was impressed. He has been brewing beer and wine for well over 25 yrs. but has taken a break from it over the last 5 yrs and had not seen anything like it. I would highly recommend this product to any brewer to make clean up easy.

Price: $24.95 Pros: Saves on PBW, cleans quickly. Cons: None so far. Recommended? Yes
Comments: This product will pay for itself after a handful of brews, simply due to the amount of PBW it saves. I cleaned a nasty carboy in 15 minutes with less than 1 gallon of cleanser. I highly recommend this product.

Price: $30.00 Pros: Does a great job. A lot faster than a carboy brush. Cons: Little tricky to clean the neck of a Carboy Recommended? Yes
Comments: I use it all the time. I even use it on primary buckets. I probably am better about cleaning the fermenters now that it is a lot quicker.

Price: $30.00 Pros: Makes short work of cleaning a Carboy.
I also used it on my Plastic Primary Buckets Cons: Cleaning the neck of the carboy is tricky but still easier and quicker than a carboy brush. Recommended? Yes
Comments: I bought this product a month ago and really like it. It cut my carboy cleaning time down to next to nothing. Just put a little PBW and some water in the carboy and let it rip. I even use mine to clean my Primary Ale Bucket. Fellow brewer saw me using mine and he said he is going to order one too. It is a great time saver.

Price: $32.50 Pros: Good construction
Works as advertised
Makes cleaning kegs a breeze! Cons: No con's...I'm completely satisfied with this product and would buy one again without hesitation. Recommended? Yes
Comments: When getting all of my kegs set up I ran across this product. I watched the videos and was impressed with what was shown. Given the price I was a bit skeptical at first but figured I'd give it a try. The KegCleaner powered through my dirty kegs (used for serving and as fermenters) in no time at all. The video is not altered in any way...it truly does work like magic. Remove the dip tube and go. No need to try to reach down to the bottom of my keg to scrub out any junk. Makes cleaning out my kegs simple and quick.

Comments: I am happy with the product overall and would recommend them. The only concern was the longevity of the pads, only time will tell.

Price: $32.50 Pros: Fast, easy and works as advertised. Cons: centering collar too small, drops right through 6 gal better bottle neck. Recommended? Yes
Comments: I've used my new Carboy cleaner to much out 6 or so carboys, 5 Gal. glass, and 6 gal better bottles. It strips out the kreusen residue with ease, and leaves a very clean surface.. A heck of a lot faster than a bent brush.
Only con I have seen is the centering stopper is too small and drops right through the neck on a 6 gal better bottle. Perhaps a cone that is taller and has more of a taper to it to fit a wider range of bottle neck openings?
Edit: I must have completely zoned on their site, as they have stoppers for both types of bottles. I retract my above statement.. Sorry about that
Also, when they suggest 1000 RPM drill, they mean it.. Works stellar at 900-1000 RPM from my more expensive drill, but my cheaper 7.4V drill only musters ~600RPM, and the cleaning pads tend to fold rather than stay flung out against the walls.
Even for these minor 'quirks' the time saved alone makes this product worth every penny to me.
