Pros: Solid construction. Plenty of heat.
Cons: Not the product's fault, but it does have a healthy appetite for propane when cranked up.
Recommended? Yes
Comments: On first use, I connected it to a 1/2 full tank of propane. No issues until about 30 minutes into the boil and the tank began frosting. The flame went down, but still hot enough to keep a boil going. If I would have needed more heat I would have been outta luck, it wouldn't go any higher. I think that is an issue of using a small 20lb propane tank. Simply put, the propane in the cylinder can't vaporize fast enough to satisfy the demand of the burner. Overall, this burner is awesome. No doubt in my mind that it could bring 15-20 gals to a boil in minutes.

Comments: Got this in lieu of using our electric stove top any longer. Heats already hot tap water to a boil within minutes (5 gallons). We will see how it works on 10 gallons this weekend.

Pros: Very powerful. Heats 5 gallons in about 50 minutes.
Cons: Wish it didn't use so much gas.

Comments: This is the low pressure burner from NorthernBrewer. It's 215,000 BTU and sounds like a jet engine when fully cranked. Seems like a lot of heat is lost when the weather is cooler. I've had 50 degree days, granted it was windy, take an hour and a half to reach boil. Not sure if this is the same with other burners.

Comments: Love it.
It boiled about 8 gallons of cold water in about 20 minutes.
It has a 17" surface, so it can support a very wide pot.

Comments: Outstanding burner. Had a boilover in a 20 gallon Boilermaker with only 12 gallons of wort. Only drawback is it really sucks the propane if used with the 30psi regulator.

Comments: Got two off amazon, burner only. The burners needed a little machining to come up to my standards and the box was pretty smashed up. I got them for 25 each so I really am not complaining....but the packaging could have been of a higher quality.

Comments: Awesome burner! I use it for 5gal batches (7.5gal or so preboil) and I'm sure I could easily do 10gal batches. The valve to adjust gas flow is a little tricky though and doesn't have a very steady adjustment. Takes some getting used to.
