Price: $49.00
Pros: great heavy duty burner
Cons: none
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This is a great product for the cost. It is easy to get your boil to hot and cause boil overs. I made a small modification and added a cheap grill replacement igniter from Wal-Mart ($10).

Price: $120.00
Pros: Stainless, durable, light weight, easily adaptable
Cons: Slightly thin wall and bottom
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I love my Bayou Classic. The wall and bottom are a little thin, but when AG brewing, a thick, heavy bottom is not as critical. The thin wall construction make it lighter than some other options and easier to modify with spigots, thermometers, etc. Overall, this is a very solidly built piece of equipment that I would recommend to anyone.

Comments: Bought it and love it. Well made with large gauge stainless steel. No temperature gauge or drainage valve, but very large and it does a good job of containing boiling wort. Mashing in is tricky, but racking to the fermenter is no problem.
