This Perlick has a CREAMER FEATURE! When you pull the faucet down it acts as a normal faucet, but when you push faucet handle forward it gives you a creamy head! Forward seal design, stainless beer faucet. This is Perlick's BRAND NEW faucet. The "Perl ball" and floating O-ring design eliminates the need for a valve shaft. Beer gets no exposure to air; there's literally no space for mold and bacteria to grow! This faucet has fewer internal parts for better reliability and fewer part replacement.

* Forward seat design to prevent lever from sticking
* More sanitary than rear seating faucets
* 1”W x 4”H x 2 3/4”D
*Creamer Feature

Price: $35.00
Pros: As good as any Perlick.
Cons: Tap handle doesn't automatically center. Creamer doesn't foam low carbonated beer.
Recommended? No

Comments: I like my Perlicks, just not this one.

This tap will present a problem for those that like others to serve themselves beer since the tap doesn't center itself. A Guinness style faucet will spring to the center off position. This faucet requires that you return the tap handle yourself to the center position to turn it off. It's not uncommon for someone at a party to walk away from the tap with a steady dribble of beer coming out. Annoying.

As has been said previously, this faucet is no substitute for a nitro system. It will not put a head on a low carbonated beer. It simply doesn't agitate the beer enough. Your better off using a hard pour for this... and therefore using a normal faucet.

Price: $36.00
Pros: Pretty, doesnt stick
Cons: 'creamer' valve sticks slightly until broken in. no bottling want attachment like standard faucets :(
Recommended? Yes

Comments: THese things are sweet. They're only a few bucks more than the 525 faucets and let you have low carb'ed beers on draft and still serve with a nice head. Never had a problem with the creamer function 'spraying' beer around like others have said...just get a nice foamy stream coming out. My lines are all balanced though.

Price: $28.99
Pros: front-sealing, all stainless, can add head
Cons: Price?
Recommended? Yes

Comments: The faucet pours the same as the 525, except you can push back on the lever to get aeration for head. I was upgrading my two faucets to perlicks, and for only a few dollars more than the 525, I figured I would give it a shot over an expensive nitro setup for my latest stout (knowing nothing can replace a good nitro pour).

Overall, I suppose it's nice to have the option to add some head to a beer (currently have pale ale on that tap), but like most people have said, the same can be had with a hard pour.

Only way I would recommend, is to have one on your keezer/kegorator, just to have the option, and if the difference in price over the 525 is small.

Price: $35.00
Pros: All the same as the 525SS. Generates a nice creamy head. Works well with any beer I've tried.
Cons: All the same as the 525SS.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Solid product. The looks of the 575SS are fantastic no matter where you have these things mounted. In my case they really class up the garage (LOL)! Easy to use, easy to assemble/disassemble, keep clean longer than older models, and don't "gum" up as plunger models occasionally did after longer periods of time without cleaning. I fell these taps are well worth the money.

They can fill an entire pint full of foam / head in a minute if you have the time and for some reason wanted an entire mug of foam. I have not tried this faucet with a stount or other beer that is characteristic to generate a creamy head. I figure if it can make a rich foamy head on my lightest summer ale, then it can do it on most anything.
