Comments: I got this for a great price at Sam Club about a year ago and have loved it.

Price: $600.00
Pros: Keeps the beer cold and matches my other stainless appliances.
Cons: The CO2 bracket is a little flimsy.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I've had the stainless steel dual tap version of this Haier Kegerator for 2 years now and I love it. I'm able to easily switch between commercial and korny kegs and it has room for two 5 gal. korny's, two, 7.5 gal. tall quarter barrels or 1 15.5 gallon half barrel.

Price: $500.00
Pros: nice big size, looks really nice with the stainless door.
Cons: temp controller is unpredictable, out of the factory would not cool lower then 40 F had to turn the calibration screw 1.5 turns clockwise and it was getting as cold as 29 F
Recommended? Yes

Comments: its my first kegorator, and i really like it, i am very happy i got it. it looks really nice and fits the 15.5 gallon keg very easily, the interior gets really nice and cold now, only issue is it will take you about a couple days to dial in the factory temp controller to the temp you want. after you find that sweet spot it will cool to the set temprature nicely. if you open the door to much you will get some frost on the plate, you really dont need the fan on it if you do the copper pipe mod to the tower.

Price: $200.00
Pros: Designed for kegs No mods necessary for 3 Cornys
Cons: Does not like being in a garage (Though I'm not sure any do) The thermostat is unpredictable, but I'm sure it's because it's in a 100 degree garage. Any humidity leads to frosting of the evaporator plate and very poor performance. Again, this would be an issue for any fridge in a humid area.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I drilled another hole, and replaced both shanks with stainless, and Perlick 525's
This thing rocks!
Temp control with the stock thermostat is not very predictable, and in our humidity a fan is a requirement. Of course frosting is not unique to this model.

Addition of a Love TS2 dital temperature controller, and a fan resolved all frosting and temperature control issues.

The capability to carbonate a 3rd keg while serving 2 is great!

Price: $502.00
Pros: Solid construction Fits 3 cornies Looks great!
Cons: Temp control small and on back at bottom
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Ok, SWMBO bought me the stainless 2 tap version for my birthday.

This thing ROCKS! It looks and feels like a commercial heavy duty kegerator.

I have 2 1/6bbl kegs in there now and can fit a pin lock cornie (just have to raise it up a bit) should fit 3 cornies no problem.

I plan on changing the thermostat to something digital and moving it somewhere with easier access like the top around back, or maybe even inside.

Get this and be the envy of all of your non-homebrewing friends, and even some of the brewing ones too!

Pros: Holds 2 of my corny kegs easy :)
Cons: Wish the CO2 was held more firmly in place, already ripped one of the bolts out
Recommended? Yes

Comments: Have the stainless model of this exact one, LOVE it.

Haier Kegerator HBF05EABB - Black
Pros: lower cost than average "ready to go" kegerators
Cons: weakly mounted casters, no built-in drain tray.
Recommended? Yes

Comments: I purchsed me a few years ago, to replace an older (and far more expensive) unit that I used to keep on the back porch. This unit is NOT made to work outside of your living area. It expects decent ambient temperatures (my old unit kept a keg ice-cold sitting in the shade of the back porch, this one will do it only indoors). Personally, I'll never have one outside again anyway (we won't get into the cleanliness aspect). If I could change two things, it would be to have had the casters mounted on something more durable than unsupported sheet metal tabs. They WILL bend if you move this thing around much while loaded. So don't do it. The other would be to have the drip tray mounted into the cabinet (with the drain going into a bottle inside the unit -this kept the run-off cool and kept it from stinking) -it comes with a plastic tray that sits on top. Though this does make it easy to clean. The unit looks good and does what its supposed to. it will fit a standard half-barrel (keg), or better yet, up to three corny-kegs and a small CO2 tank (on a small moulded shelf in the back). I keep two kegs on tap, and one 'aging' or carbonating.
Tough to beat this unit for the price.

Haier Kegerator HBF05EABB - Black
Price: $325.00
Pros: Ease of conversion to HB, good quality, ease of transport
Cons: Can be pricey. casters not very strong
Recommended? Yes

Comments: This kegerator will hold 3 corney kegs with a 5# Co2 tank inside the unit.

The compressor is relatively quiet and not not overly disruptive. (We have it in the dining room)

The casters are not up to moving real distances when there are 15 gallons of beer inside. The casters are mounted on pin mounts that go up into the sheet metal sides with no additional supports. The wheels on these casters are made of strong but brittle plastic. Moving this kegerator while filled shoudl be done with care to avoid breaking the wheels or bending the sheet metal where the casters are mounted.
