I made a yeast starter for the almond bury old ale and it never kicked off, even after a day, it's just settled to the bottom, even after shaking often,
Does anyone know the yeast they use for this kit so I can buy a replacement?
What was your starter made of? And what was the starter yeast (packet, or what?) I have some frozen yeast in small vials that takes a good 3 days or even more to show activity
Starters may not show much activity, take a gravity reading to be sure nothing happened
