Default yeast cakes into septic?

Anyone know if this has any effect on a septic tank? If anything I figured it probably helps things break down, or it just kills the yeast when it gets there.

I know rid-x is just some sort of yeast ....isnt it?

Anyone have a reason not to dump this into a septic tank?

Yes, Its great compost.
But otherwise, I don't think the occasional yeast cake is going to cause any problems.

Brewers yeast is great for your septic tank. Works just like RidX except is is basically free! I save some for my dad specifically for this purpose.

I wouldn't....It may produce a sulfur smell...you may also need a blow-off tube.

Below the frost line should be about 58 deg F. Good for lager or ale yeast! Yumm!

Watch out if you do! That's how Miller Lite was invented. You'll soon be swarmed with thirsty pregnant women.
