Default wood barrels

Is there a good source for wood barrels to buy? I am playing around the idea to try and maybe make a batch of beer in one. Any good ideas out there for doing this?

Unless you intend on paying a couple hundred dollars for a barrel and have extra space to store it full of water, I suggest sticking with oak chips. They'll give you the same effect.
