Default Who has achieved the floating bottle cap?

It was in about my 20th batch. I've been doing a better job of cleaning my bottles, and these bad boys I would drink down the entire glass and still have an inch of head at the bottom.

Carapils or wheat will take care of that.. I keg and usually have a nice head retention the whole beer. Most home brew has better head and head retention than factory packaged beer..

I think the head retention also depends on how big the beer is. I find that my big beers like an IPA or a RIS has better head retention than say a regular stout or an APA.

This was a pilsner with an OG of 1.048. Lots of hop adds, and uber clean bottles I think help.

My IPA and my Wheat can do that, my Re vale just couldnt hold it up but came very close but that batch busted my chops the whole way with manifold detachment and everything.
