He's kidding, but it's the truth. There's no way to just say "IPA's take 3.5 weeks to ferment and need 4.2 weeks of conditioning to be perfect." It's all personal preference, and it varies from recipe to recipe and even from brew to brew. Sorry, but the only true test is your own tastebuds.
