Default when do you brew?

I was supposed to brew today, but ended up being out of the house for most of the day, and it's my only real day off for the next 3 weeks. When do you guys find the time to brew? At night? weekends? mornings? I've got my grain, hops, pumpkin, and yeast ready to go for my pumpkin stout, but I don't know when to brew. Do you guys find brewing in the evening (i.e. 6 or later) to be doable? I need to get it done before the pumpkin goes bad (no sign of that so far, but I'm paranoid about these things), and I don't have a totally free day until thanksgiving weekend. Any advice?

I like to do some prep (weigh and crush grains, weigh hop, pull out all the equipment I need) the night before a day off then get up early and start brewin'. Makes for a nice relaxing brew day if your not trying to rush to get things done and cleaned up.

I brew when ever I can... like right now. Started about 5PM EDT because that is when I got all chores done and had every thing ready. Going to brew tomorrow as well. I have three empty fermenters and I hate empty fermenters.

I also weigh and crush the grain the night before. On hot days, I get up around 6AM to start. If it is not a hot day, I usually start around 9-10AM.

I normally brew the night before a day off. My days off are normally consumed by a needy fiancé. It's also much easier without her complaining!

I start brewing always on saturday's morning (7-8 a.m.). For me, it's the best....

When my kids were still at home, and Bob still worked (he's retired now), I always had Wednesdays off.

I brewed every other Wednesday, and was all cleaned up by the time the kids got home from school and Bob got home from work. The other Wednesdays were for errands, haircuts, dentist appointments, etc. I loved it!

Now Bob's been retired almost two years, and the kids have been gone for even longer. I brew "whenever" now, but I still miss the days when I had the house all to myself during the brewdays. I could make a huge mess (and sometimes did) but the kitchen was spotless when the family came home!

I brew weekend evenings. Start heating water around 4:00pm; finish cleaning up by 9:00pm. I measure out ingredients and make the yeast starter the night before, which saves an hour or so on brewday. I brew maybe twice a month, at most.
