Nope, I know a high school band director and a grammar school choir director who both homebrew.

I've seen this question come up on brewing forums over and over and over again. Bear in mind that any online forum tends to get a lot of engineers and IT related folks, whether it's beer-related or any other topic. I used to be a part of a forum for owners of a particular motorcycle, and it seems it was heavily populated by engineers and IT folks.

So there may be a correlation between professions and homebrewing. But trying to determine that based upon populations in online homebrewing forums isn't exactly accurate.
I suspect this, also. From my homebrew club, there are some engineers but not many. A mix of professionals, business folk, tradesmen, scientists and a few engineers.

I think I answered this before, but if not - I'm a non-profit administrator/manager, directing the major giving programs for a university foundation.

Director of an autism life skills group based at a private hospital.

I've spent time as, professional paintball player (pay sucks, I did the next 4 jobs to keep myself afloat while playing pb), bartender, bouncer, fry jockey, radio dj, sandwich artist, welder, counselor at the high school and college levels, photographer, lawn services, chauffer/personal assistant. facultynet IT dept at local college, sound technician.

Med school is an expensive venture I've worn a lot of hats to get to where I am now.
