Strong PBW solution after a very vigorous porter fermentation. With any luck there will be a wee heavy in it tomorrow night.

I have what started as EdWort's Haus Ale, but the LHBS was out of cascade hops and crystal 10L, so I subbed centennial hops and 20L. I also ended up adding an extra half ounce of hops. Smells good and hit my OG dead on. I've also got my friend's cinnamon spiced amber ale bubbling away. We did a double brew day yesterday, he brought his extract equipment over, and I did an all grain batch to walk him through the process.

Right now I only have one beer fermenting. Something I made up with some marries otter, two row, aromatic and crystal and lots of centennial. Smells great, should be nice.

I just did an APA with all NZ hops. Pacifica and Pacific Gem. Turned out pretty good, I stressed the yeast out a little so that it would kick off some esters. Those esters, combined with the fruitiness of the hops, made the beer turn out like a Belgian IPA.
