Default What's Wrong With My Wife?

Up until a few weeks ago, my wife would watch 4-5 hours of TV a day. It was to the point that she'd get up an hour early (three hours before needing to be at work, a 20 minute drive away) to watch an hour or so of TV. I casually mentioned a couple of times that she watches a lot of TV, and never said anything more, until it impacted things. Then things came to a head...

I woke up one morning and didn't have any clean clothes folded for work. For a normal job, no big deal. But I'm in the military. Not having a clean uniform is a serious offense. That's her chore (to fold and store), I merely collect and wash.

Ever since, she's been helping with the brewing. And at least saying she enjoys it. She even asks me what I need done with my brewery now. Sounds silly, right?

The last three brew days, she's volunteered to empty and rinsed the mash tun. She seemed like she even enjoyed it.

Tonight, she tore down, inventoried, vacuum sealed, and re-organized my entire specialty grain storage area. That's 10 cases of half-gallon mason jars -- somewhere in the range of 126-132 pounds of grain. To boot, she even updated all my grain inventory in BeerSmith, then sorted all of the cases in order of Lovibond.

What's wrong with her? Surely, she can't really enjoy doing all of this. Can she?

Edit: She thinks I wrote that she's a lazy bitch. She's not. She works full time and pays the bills. And she's actually been helping me brew for 3 months, but why does she find it SO much fun to clean the mash tun?

Seems simple enough to me. She wants something. Pre-paid brownie points.

If I wasn't happily married and she wasn't married to you, I'd devote all of my extra time to get to know her and marry her She sounds like a dream wife.

My wife hates beer and my clean clothes come in a trash bag. "Ironing" involves Downy Wrinkle Release. Don't get the wrong idea, my wife busts her A$$, but if I had a wife that would organize my grain, I wouldn't want to wake up from that dream.

Sleep with one eye open . She is luring you into a false sense of security.

I would also start giving any food she feeds you to the dog FIRST.

It may not be the cleaning of the mash tun as much as how good it smells.
