I really enjoy a number of pale ales but not this one.

Sacristan Amber Ale, a new beer/brewery in the Valencian Community in Spain, beatiful bottle crappy content. Bad thing is a meet the brewer and he ask me for an honest opinion.... I couldn´t break his heart... I toke the compromise to send him an e-mail with my tasting notes and I´m trying to be polite and give a constructive review but it´s just a horrible beer

This beer was in the fridge at work. I decided to try just out of curiosity. I would prefer O'douls over this stuff. Absolutely horrible.

I had to try it, I couldn't resist. Strong maple aroma. Not good, but not as bad as I expected.

I had one on draught that was horrifying. It reminded of someone's first homebrew batch. Not their first batch, but the first batch where they tried to "get creative" with a recipe. God awful.

In all honesty, none of the Sam Adams beers have ever been very good. I've never, ever, purchased the same product of theirs twice. Some are okay, some are meh and some are just craptacular.

Back on the subject of trader joes, avoid at all costs the Twin Screw Double IPA. Pure ****. Nothing double or IPA about it. Just junk. I wrote to their customer service since it's a private label thing I think and told them the beer tasted like a tampon soaked in stale beer. And that it was a fitting name, Twin Screw, since you're screwed when you buy it and screwed again when you drink it. They never wrote back.

Aroma reminded me of something sour. Like unripened apples or juniper berries. Lovely yellow white head and clear amber-orange body. Taste is well...bad. Very bad. It gave me flashbacks to both licking hard plastic toys as a small child and getting grass shoved into my mouth by the town bully as a pre-teen. Body reminds me of PBR. But on the plus side it’s cheap. Dirt cheap.

Got served this the other day, Andwell Gold Muddler, and it was funky, was quickly replaced when I pointed out the split, but that was the worsted pint I've ever had!
When I got a 'clean' pint it was very good though!
