Not brewing, only consuming. SWMBO and I are also going to check out some land in Missouri on "Big Lake".

I will be brewing my first batch Saturday, Nut Brown Ale from a 20 minute boil kit.
Then it's off to a Australia Day/Homebrew Tasting party to ask what I did wrong :-)
By the way, this is the nicest, most helpful group I've seen on a board since...well, ever! Thanks for the help from a recent lurker.

No brewing this weekend, although tomorrow is supposed to be another perfect January brewing day of 50 degrees. Racking my my munich Helles to the secondary and may rack my Fat Tire to secondary if it keeps slowing down.
Also going to obtain ingredients for the next couple batches. Maybe a belgian alt and a quick and dirty English bitter or pale ale.......
My holiday ale keg is getting light but is peaking after about a month in the keg...

Thanks!
An Aussie buddy got me into homebrewing, and this is his 2nd annual Australia Day/Homebrew party. Unfortunately I was in Vegas for the first one. My wife got to go, but she was pregnant at the time, so this is the first one she'll be able to really enjoy as well.

Since the weather is gonna be nice tomorrow, I might alter my plans and start welding up my brew stand. Still going to Boston tomorrow night though

I will be brewing my first batch Saturday, a Heffe weizen. Got my yeast starter going Wed. night, White Labs WLP300. Wish me luck gang, I am sure I will need it.
I have to agree with the earlier post, this is the best bunch people. Thanks for putting the wealth of information where others may learn from your experiences.
I can hardly wait to see the action in my 6.5 gallon carboy!

Have no clue what I want to brew either. Probably the Red Eye Rye or a LWPA.

Well, I just racked the LWPA over from this brew session. Good stuff. First time I used Amarillo. Smooth bitterness, not near the bite those Perle hops had. I'm lovin' me some amarillo.
Now I have to kill this smoked porter so I can put the LWPA on tap. Anyone wanna come over?
So when does this week's installment of "Who's Brewing?" come out?
I have 2 planned for this weekend.
