I see a lot of Weyerbacher around here, but I've never seen that. Any good?

I dont have a problem with this, for its abv-not bad. Weird,it has a historical element but not brewed to its element but yet its.... not too bad. Hmm.. Brasil. Kinda like it. Decent Black Ale, really. I kind of has a unique aroma/taste to it(maybe from the yeast?) Think Im picking up some english to this.

'Twas a great beer festival - didn't even make it all the way around. Now that I've had dinner and some time to sober up a bit, here was the rest of what I sampled:

Weisster-Berliner by Round Guys Brewing. Small brewery nearby that just is getting started - great sour.
Slacker Brown Ale by Round Guys Brewing.
Banana Hammack Saison by Round Guys Brewing.
Alpha Blackback IPA by Round Guys Brewing.
Hazed and Infused by Boulder Beer Company.
Freshtracks Wet-hopped Singletrack by Boulder Beer Company.
Whitesun Ale by Arcadia Brewing Company
Hopmouth Double IPA by Aracadia <- great imperial IPA
Abandon Ship Smoked by Ballast Point (way too much smoke flavor for my taste)
Big Eye IPA by Ballast Point
Brown Angel by Clown Shoes
Let My People Go by Clown Shoes (great English PA)
Islander IPA by Coronado Brewing - great hop aroma on this one
Idiot IPA by Coronado Brewing - could be my favorite from the fest
Christmas Ale by Brouwerij Corsendonk
Apple White by Brouwerij Corsendonk (surprised how much I liked this one)
One Oatmeal Stout by Dark Horse Brewing
Crooked Tree IPA by Dark Horse Brewing
Grand Cru by AleSmith (loved this one!)
Volks Weizenbock by Appalachian Brewing
Blanc Evolution by Moa Brewing Companyu
Flying Mouflan by Troegs Brewing
Triple Bag by Long Trail Brewing
Yellow Snow IPA by Rogue Ales
Indra Kunindra by Ballast Point Brewing <= spiciest brew I've ever had. Absolutely loved it, but only good in small doses I think.
Grinnin' Grizzly Spiced Ale by Appalachian Brewing
Pere Jacques by Goose Island
Primal Pale Ale by Evolution Craft Brewing
Lost No. 3 IPA by Evolution Craft Brewing
Perpetual IPA by Troegs Brewing
HopBack Amber Ale by Troegs Brewing

only 2 ounces at a time, but boy does it add up!

It's ok. I've been passing them up for the last few months, I should probably look for a bottling date. Good flavor, lacking on the aroma.

Hub Abominal Winter Ale, pretty good as winter ales go, though I prefer the Ninkasi Sleigher.

Yeah, it sure does add up, as I learned at GABF. I need to attend more beer fests.

North coast Scrimshaw: Wow! I think Im becoming a real big Pilsner fan, thanks to this beer. With the help of my SS etched Lager glass. @ 4.4%-you cant get them much better than this, well maybe a few,but this is one of them. Bad ratings, but I disagree. Or maybe I just need to explore more pilsners. Id be happy to make a pilsner like this although I did make a nice pilsner, just overcarbed-it could be better- I dont know I only have 1 left now.
