OK.. I have a hair brain idea that includes 4#2Row, 4#WheatMalt, 1#Munich, and 0.5#Oatmeal.. Yeast most likely US-05 or 04.. Hops most likely Chinook or Mt.Hood..

What the H3II is this concoction?? Anyone want to help name it :ban: OR does it have a name??

Just a general Brain Fart and looking for something to do.. Oh did I mention that I LOVE this hobby?? A long way from the Coopers Kit I started out with..

I'd say definitely an American wheat.

I don't know of any commercial wheats with oats in there but it's not really that unusual of an addition.

If you use the chinook hops to a high enough IBU you would have a nice wheat pale ale on your hands. Just made one myself with a similar grain bill, and summit, sorachi ace, and cascade.

How about wording the ingredients like this....4#WheatMalt, 4#2Row and call it the 442 just like the car.

Low IBU = american wheat
Medium IBU = wheat pale ale
High IBU + 2 more pounds of 2row = wheat IPA

Threw your ingrediants into the software in my phone...
