Default What happened to Founders?

I see on the news in SW Michigan that Founders in Grand Rapids has closed their doors.

Anyone have any insight? What happened?

Hmmm you sure it wasn't just a misheard soundbyte? They just finished up Founders Fest (when evidently they do close down during the day).

Nothing on Google turned up anything.

No you heard wrong.... Grand Rapids Brewery closed it's doors.... not Founders. Completely separate places that have no connection with each other.

More info that sums up the real story

Dude, Founders had a fire. Lost the entire lot of KBS '12 and bankrupted the entire brewery. I thought this was common knowledge by now.

Dude, all of the KBS is stored in barrels in a gypsum mine under Grand Rapids. It is very safe.
