I put the hops in canning mason jars, the hand held foodsavor has a attachment that sucks the air out of the jar and seals it. It not a substitute for canning liquids, but for hops it works well.

Didn't come in the mail, but got 15 Lbs of high quality jerky meat and ran it through the slicer. Already in the cure solution and soaking up the flavor for a Saturday or Sunday cook off. My little cheapo cahrcoal smoker from brinkman has been performing flawlessly on the last two batches so I am looking forward to another great batch this weekend too. Easy recipe, soak the meat for 3-4 days, start a low pure lump charcoal fire, keep the fire low, add meat and allow to reach an internal temp of 150 + for at least 30 minutes. Leave the jerky in till the smoker is stone cold and enjoy!!!!! The Mai Bock is perfect for the Teriyaki flavor Jerky too.

Today I received my new grain mill from Northern Brewer. I plan on breaking it on this weekend as I'm planning to brew a batch of honey cream ale on Sunday. I'm hoping this will help my efficiency consistency.

Jug & growler filler (hose that fits into a kegerator tap), and Insta Balance Foam Preventer (little stainless mesh thingy that slows beer line flow rate).
Yep, kegerator tweaking.
