water jugs for fermentors?

Has anybody ever used the 5 gallon water jugs from water coolers for fermentors? just wondering pros and cons if anybody has, or if its not a good idea at all... Havent heard or read about anybody using them so thought I would ask before I went through with it.

Yep, we've discussed this a few times! Some say yes, some say no- but I would suggest reading up on it and deciding for yourself. I personally would not, but I know that others do.
