We do out best to ensure quality judging with a large number of master and national BJCP judges. Each panel has at least one high-ranked, experienced judge.
There's a banquet, prizes, raffle, special guests and events.

This was my first competition, so I'll take a moment to get emotional and say thanks to this community for being a wonderful source of information and expertise!
I took 3rd with my Southern English brown and took 3rd with my Oatmeal Stout. Not bad for a comp that had 1000 entries!

Have any of you received your scorecards/medals yet? They posted that results were being mailed out on Monday and I still haven't seen anything. Also, any idea's to what the "various other prizes are presented to medal-winning brewers" are? Thanks for any insight.
Just to update those that are waiting, if you haven't seen the email. They had some issues with shipping, and the scorecards and stuff supposedly went out yesterday.
Received my medal today! Also received a $10 certificate to Midwest. Scored a 37.5 for my RIS, 32.5 for my DIPA, and a 29 for my Smoked Rye Porter. Judges comments and descriptions were very accurate. One judge even knew what roasted malts were used in my stout (carafa II & black patent).
