Default thank God for blowoffs...

Thought I would post this after reading many "why use blowoff tubes" threads in the past.

Yup! It's amazing how some yeast just goes nuts!

Started using a blowoff tube (3/8" id) two brews ago. But this last brew blew the top off my ferm bucket, and it fits tight too. It was a high gravity dubbel. Not sure what to do to prevent this next time. Duct tape the top on, or make the hole bigger and get a bigger tube?

Sometimes I have to tape the tube to the bucket lid.

I've never used my blow-off tube with my airlock...I'll have to do that next time.
