Stupid phone. I hit the wrong button. So basically I have been drinking ipa's a lot lately. Stone IPA, lagunitas ipa, hopslam, hopstupid etc. In the last few weeks IPA's have tasted horrible to me kinda like a dirty sock. It's kinda like my taste buds are constantly changing and one month I favor bud light the next month Sierra Nevada pale ale then ipas. Does anyone else experience this? I love big beers but lately they have been horrible.

Don't worry, you'll get over it. I've got the opposite problem, if I drink a big IPAD, everything else tastes bad for the next couple of days. Try drinking something a little more mild for a bit, you'll be craving hops soon enough.

That started happening to me, especially with double IPAs. It's almost like they were so hoppy/bitter that my tongue shut down and all I could taste was malt.

IPAs were my entry to craft brews and all I'd drink for a while, but burned out. Luckily I'm developing a new love for stouts and porters that I never had before which is nice. Now when I do come back to IPAs it's refreshing.

I think tastes constantly change. Maybe it slows a bit as you get older. I used to be way into IPAs and got burnt out. Now, I am into moderately hopped, malt forward beers, English and German styles. I am sure I will go back to the hop eventually.
