Default Taking 5 kegged gallons and throwing back onto a yeast cake?

I have Diacetyl in a beer and want to know if you think that pouring it onto a yeast cake that just finished fermentation might help get rid of it? I really want to enjoy this beer, but I hate drinking buttered popcorn. I just can't choke down this guy with D.

If the beer is not filtered then you might be able to get rid if it by heating it up to room temp and leave vented (remove pressure release and insert airlock) for 48-72 hours.

Actually I don't think you even need to leave it vented. I can't remember what the yeast releases as it eats Diacetyl though.

EDIT:

Also heard of pitching a starter at high Krausen.
