Specks on the surface
My porter has been in the secondary fermenter for a little over 2 weeks now... and I just went and looked, and there's lots of little specks floating on the surface. here's a pic:
is this normal? other beers i've made haven't ended up like this... (the dust is on the outside of the fermenter, not inside... i sanitized everything as usual)
hoping it's not mold or anything... any ideas?
Doesn't neccesarily look bad...my brews always have little bubble-groupings that look like white blobs...although they're usually a bit bigger....I haven't had an infection yet, so I don't know.....
