SN Neon Beer Signs on Ebay?

I'm looking to buy a neon beer sign as a housewarming gift for a friend. He's intent on setting up a bar in the basement so I thought I'd help get him started.

He really likes SN, so I found these on ebay:

sierra nevada sign, Collectibles items on eBay.com

Has anyone had experience with buying these on ebay or elsewhere? Are they reliable and authentic? What's a reasonable price?

Watch the shipping on glass and neon signs. The vendors charge an arm and a leg to pack and ship those fragile things.

Yeah I saw that. Anywhere from 50-100. Insane.

Yeah, I would look for something local. I see you're in Fairfax, I'm sure there's a neon sign shop there. Another option, you could always find a really sh*tty bar that has an SN sign and offer the owner some cash...
