Default Skunky Beer and Lemon Slices

For me at least, a lemon slice or two makes a skunky beer better, almost nice.

The lemon seems to blend in with the skunk.

Anybody else notice that?

It's better to avoid UV of course, but if it happens, lemon helps.

I have noticed the same thing especially with skunky wheat bears, the acid in the lemon seems to help cut the funk and mellow the brew. Not sure why but it works so oh well.

Why do you think Corona (which comes in clear glass) is always pictured with a lime?

I thought that was because it tastes like @ss, even when it isn't skunky.

(I'm going to try a slice of lime in my skunky lager tonight. I need to drink up that keg for other brews in the pipeline)

Yep, lime is even better in a skunk. Could not hardly detect the skunk at all.
