http://www.nikobrew.com/index.php?pa...emart&Itemid=1

Nikobrew is the best I could find. It is twice the rate of Hopsdirect's hops, but they don't grow them so I guess there is no reason to compare their prices. Nikobrew is a vendor on here, maybe they have a deal for HBT folks?

Here is another source http://www.hopstoyou.com/pellets.html They sell by the 1/4 lb
Might be good for future reference, but that Northern Brewer and Niko price beats it, and looks pretty decent right now.

Simcoe are proprietary, as I understand it, so not as generally available as other hops. As such, they do seem to cost more. I did find a guy on ebay who was selling some cheap, but I ended up going with Niko. You know you'll get good hops from him.

Couldnt you just get a cat to pee in your wort? LOL! Wow Simcoe has a distinctive aroma/flavor!

Yeah, but it's not "cat pee". Most of us think "pine" when we think Simcoe.
