Default Short Dry Hopping

I have a christmas ale that has been in the primary for the last 40+ days, I was supposed to rack and dry hop @ 3 weeks but I got busy. Since I now have a bit of a deadline I want to know what will happen if i cut the dry hopping from 5 days down to 3 days then bottle? That should put three weeks in the bottle on the 25.

I would agree that if you can still do 3 and the recipe called for dry-hopping, do it. I did about that for a stout of mine and it was still a noticeable difference.

it has been over a year since I bottled a beer (hooray kegging) should I dry hop for all five days but then the beer would be in the bottle for three weeks on dec 27, but I wanted it to be ready on Christmas day. Normally I don't have a drink date in mind at this stage.
