Shipping beer?

Guys,
I brought about 8 bottles down to Florida on the airplane, I wrapped them in bubble wrap and they made it safe and sound
My question is has anyone shipped or transported beer this way?
Of course the bottles are shook up but they have bubbles in the neck and 3 days later they are still there, the beer I brought has never been in the fridge and when I got here I put it in the fridge
Will it settle down?
Should I have done anything differant?
