Default Sewing hop bags

For some reason my LHBS doesnt sell any hop bags besides those muslin ones. I don't like using those ones much more than a couple times, and so I was thinking of replacements.
Obviously I could just order some nylon hops bags online, but since I own a small sewing company, I have tons and tons of a 100% polyester netting that has very small holes in it, definitely small enough to stop hop pellet particles.

Does anyone forsee any problems using polyester in the boil?

For my BIAB brewing I use Polyester sheer curtains from Walmart. My wife gets 3 BIAB's out of one curtain, and the remainder makes 3 hop bags. The fabric is very fine mesh and cleans easily.
