Default Serving temp for an American Oatmeal Stout

Minus the roasted barley, don't ask.

It's basically a high gravity Oatmeal Porter.

The Brewmaster's Bible for Porter says 50-55°, then 55-65°F for Stout. However, this is an "American" beer, so I figure a little colder than 50°F.

Other than it's country of origin, what makes it American? I'd most likely shoot for the mid-50s.

It's American Hopped. Although I just looked it up and Northern Brewer are German hops, so basically it's country of origin.
