Default Salvage remnants of handpumped keg

Can the remnants of a hand pumped keg be salvaged if it is transferred to a corney and covered with co2 within say 6 hrs?

Only if you plan on drinking it the same day. Once you pump the air in, it's in there, bound to the molecules of the beer.

I have no knowledge of this specifically but i would imagine if you purged the air out and replaced it with co2 the noticeable effects from the oxygen on the beer would be moot.

I'v never had to attempt this but i would in a pinch.
