Default S-05 Rocks my...

1.086 to 1.014 in 10 days at 60 deg on my Brew Dog Hardcore IPA clone.

That's 84% attenuation! Damn I love this yeast.

Yup, followed the BYO recipe to the T. Mashed at 149 for 90 minutes. Grist was 100% Maris Otter.

Actually drinking a bottle of the real thing tonight - surprisingly low carbonation which makes it a tad sweet to me. My hyrdo sample has a good bit more citrus but that's likely just the difference in age. Should be a good match once it's all done, though I'm gonna carbonate it more to American IPA standards.

I made my Double Asylum similar to that recipe and used US-05 @ 64. OG-1.085, FG-1.014. I'll be cold crashing it this week and then plan to give it a month in the keg before trying it.

18# Marris Otter
.5# Flaked Barley
Mashed at 150 for 75 mins
1oz Simcoe FWH
1oz Simcoe 60min
5oz Amarillo and 5oz Cascade continuos from 25min to flamout
Dryhopped with 1oz Amarillo and 1oz Cascade
