Default Question about carbonation.

I'm working on a batch of a Dreadnought clone. I have been labor in under a curse from the start. The first thing was that I FORGOT to cool the wort before pitching the yeast. Yep. I murdered the yeast. While the yeast was dying, "stuff" started to grow on the surface. I thought I had mold! More panic. Went to LHBS, they said it wasn't mold, pitch more yeast, it will be fine. Did that. Had great fermentation. Dry hopped. Then about two weeks later I put it into the secondary. That was two weeks before Cnristmas. Left town for a week. Got the flu immediately upon returning home. Now it's January 13. Can I bottle now? Will there be enough yeast left to carbonate?

Did you take an original gravity reading? If so, then take a final gravity and make sure it's where you want it to be. If you are going off time, I'd say it probably sat long enough for you to bottle.

There should still be enough yeast in suspension. When you rack it into your bottling bucket, you'll pick some up anyway.

andhou27....Boyertown?.....Howdy from Fleetwood.
