Default Pumpkin Ale Craziness

So, I moved my pumpkin ale over to my secondary on top of my spice tea. The water was boiled for 10 minutes. I brought the temperature down, added the spices and steeped them for about 20 minutes. While I was racking the batch over, I noticed a strange cloud that was caused by the spice tea... thick and floating to the top of the beer.
It has only been one day and there isn't much activity (or any at all) from the airlock. Unfortunately, I do have some strange formations which I can't imagine being yeast. I racked 3 beers to secondary in one night and the other two are as clear as I expected.
Here is a pic...

I've never done a spiced ale... perhaps this is normal?
Thanks!

a couple quick questions you could look to for answers, was your spice Tea made with whole or ground spices? and also did you use whole chunks of pumpkin or did you use canned pumpkin? Either of those could be causing the odd looking film or foam on the top of the beer. If you just racked to secondary odds are its taking a while for the beer to settle down or it could be either of the 2 questions posed above.. they were a few things i looked into when doing my pumpkin batch.

I used ground spices.
I also used fresh pumpkin pureed and placed in a grain bag which seemed to contain most of the pumpkin. There was little fallout in the primary. The beer was looking pretty good. I've also noticed that the entire thing is almost cloudy (compared to yesterday in the primary).

My pumpkin ale was very cloudy in the primary. I talked to my LHBS and he recommended pectic enzyme. I placed some into the primary after about a week and by the time I racked to the secondary it was pretty clear. Not sure if it would have settled out by itself or the pectic enzyme really worked, but it turned out fine.

Did you notice that happening AFTER you added the spices? Or did you add your spices during the boil?
