(cross posted from Homebrew Korea after several suggestions to do so...)

So, I've been harvesting brewing, cider, mead, wine books off of GoogleBooks for a while now. Sure, they're there and you can read some of them (some you can't due to the "ground-breaking agreement with publishers), but I don't wanna have to go online to read a book....call me old fashioned or call me someone with a ****ty wireless router.

Anyway, here they are. They're all in the public domain, so there are no piracy/copyright concerns.

There's a healthy mix, mostly brewing-related, but with some distilling, mead, wine and cider making thrown in for good measure.

The books with titles that seem to refer to beekeeping have mead-related stuff in them; the cookery and domestic housewifery books have ale and wine recipes.

The books that seem to refer to mixing drinks are, in fact, about mixing drinks. If you thought a Jagerbomb was new-school, you're in for a shock...there's an almost identical drink from 1830(ish) using Ouzo vice Jager.

I've stripped off the initial annoyingly huge "google is awesome" page and the initial few blank pages so they start off at the title page. Yes, google asks you not to do that, but the huge splash page jacks up my PDF reader and it's just a suggestion, so there you are.

There's also a few German books that I'm reasonably sure are brewing related. I have them in there mainly because, well, they look so damned cool...I need to find somewhere I can get them printed and bound because...well...because. Shut up. Don't judge me.

Since I can't upload a torrent file, You can grab it off of the HBK forum, at http://www.homebrewkorea.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=769&start=20#p5375

Very cool. Thanks for doing this. There are lots of good on-demand printing houses these days, though I'm not sure what exists out in your neck of the woods.

No problem...I've been gathering these for a while now, so I figured what the hell.

They can be kind of hard to find in google books, since it seems like they'll delist something and make it a "preview" if someone starts selling a reproduction or reissue of it...which a lot of people do since they're in the PD.

Dude this is sweet, thanks!

Kinda silly that you can't upload a perfectly legal torrent file.

No, I get that...allowing the upload of random text files can lead to all sorts of random crap that nobody wants.

"Dude, check out my new recipe."
"Ok, awesome." [downloads 8 meg file]
"WTF...this is an ad for AOL."

So, yeah, I'm cool with that. :)
