If it is drinkable, I'll call it a success.
Hit mash temp but it fell off to the low 140s by the end of the hour. I guess the super low volume was the cause. Shooting for around 2 gallons post boil.
I'm pretty sure it was part of an american brown ale I did. When I was brewing that one I was a few pounds short and couldn't figure out why. No reason for the grains to be separated like that unless I put the ground grains back in the 10lb bag I bought them in, and had too many to fit. I don't know.
I purposely tried to abuse this beer as far as preparation goes. I didn't want to feel like I was vested in it. Lol
